As the epidemic continued to spread, they were treated with "disgust and discrimination" attitudes by some people. They all "voluntarily" locked the gates of their own courtyards so as not to make trouble to anyone. After hearing of this news, I felt it difficult to understand at first! Due to my social responsibility of a member of Shanxi Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference, after inquiring the opinions of all parties by telephone, I found their own reasons.

"Epidemic Prevention Practice based on Isolation by Voluntary Locking Courtyard Gate" generally means as follows: after the village committee negotiated with the families running business in Wuhan and other places, they and their family members have the cultural tradition of "consideration for general interests, being sensible and reasonable" in Pingyao people. They were voluntarily to let village cadres lock their courtyard gates from outside and make the keys kept by the village committee, making it impossible for everyone in the family to freely enter and exit their courtyard. At the same time, their relatives and friends in the village were not allowed to visit the courtyard after their returning to hometown. This method seems "irrational", but it is not the case in fact.
